The month of May in pictures...

HELLO to all our friends!  I feel like I've deserted this blog!  I won't make any excuses... life goes on swiftly, and sometimes we need to just hang on and enjoy the ride! :)  In two days we are leaving for our beloved homeland! America here we come! :)  God has been so good to us! We have felt his power and protection so many times.  We have learned to know MANY people... we have so many more friends!  Our horizons have broadened tremendously and we have learned to love Kenya!  Yes we are excited about meeting our family and friends at home but we are already looking forward to coming back to the people we have learned to love! Thanks to all of you for your prayers and support!!  You mean so much to us!  We are hoping to see some of you this week! :)  Please pray for good flights, health, and strength for the long journey ahead of us.  God bless!  Clara
A few weeks ago there was a Town Hall Meeting here in Kisumu with our US Ambassador, Robert Godec, (Bottom step, Center)

I told Dean (from whom I borrowed the picture) that he should preach on the top quote.  We told me that I need to preach on the bottom one!

Brian's family and ours visited Morris, a cancer victim, at the hospital in Maseno this morning after church. He has a very nasty open wound in his side and the smell was awful!!  He seemed to be touched by the singing and Scripture that was read.  Please pray for him as he waits for our Lord to call him home.
